IT efficiency: the critical core of digital sustainability
Synopsis
IT operational efficiency is commonly absent from the sustainability reports (and strategies) of many data center operators and enterprises, with most only reporting facility metrics. This is a missed opportunity — IT operations account for a significant proportion of a data center’s energy use and other environmental impacts.
